How do I find a patient?
Open Patients, use its search and available filters, and select a patient. Results reflect your company and patient-access scope. If a patient is missing, check the filter and ask your organization to check access.

Open Patients and use the create/add action if it is available. Complete the required fields and save. Patient creation requires its own permission; viewing patients does not automatically include creating them.

Open Contacts and use Message to start an eligible direct chat. If a phone action is available, it hands the number to your device’s calling app. A usable number and a configured calling app are required.

Open the patient room's details and its information section. If an edit control is available for the clinical note, make the change and save. A read-only note means your current access does not allow editing; ask an authorized care-team member to help.

Use Add patient in Patients and complete the required information. A patient room is created with the patient. If you choose to invite the patient, check the email and invitation options before submitting.

Open the patient’s available management actions in Patients and choose the inactive/archive action. Review the confirmation. Changing active status is different from deleting the record and can affect room access.

Find the accessible inactive patient record in Patients and use Reactivate when available. Ask an authorized administrator if you cannot access the record or action. Transferred records follow separate access rules.

Use Delete only from the patient’s authorized management controls, after reviewing the confirmation. There is no ordinary undo in the patient list; contact your organization about Console recovery. Deletion can affect room access and pending invitations.
