Discussions

A discussion is a shared conversation with its own participants. Open an available discussion from Chats. What you see depends on your organization, membership and the channel's rules.

Use the create or browse control in the Discussions section of Chats. Follow the channel setup or join flow presented. The dashboard shows these management entry points to owners, admins and managers; access rules still apply.

It may be private, outside your company, archived, or unavailable to your account. Private-channel access is not granted just by knowing its name. Ask someone authorized to manage the discussion to check your membership.

Open the discussion's settings and use the available management controls. The app checks whether you can manage that channel. System discussions have special restrictions and cannot be edited like ordinary discussions.

System discussions follow organization-defined rules. The app may not offer ordinary leave/edit actions, and the app can reject them. Contact your organization when membership needs to change.
